1.7 Service Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice. We are not liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuance of services.
SECTION 2 — BOOKING & SCHEDULING
2.1 Service Requests
Service requests may be made through our website booking system, phone calls, email correspondence, or text message for existing clients.
2.2 Booking Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A booking is not confirmed until you receive written or verbal confirmation from us.

-
Changes to scheduled appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance
-
Requests made with less than 24 hours notice are subject to availability and cancellation fees
Company-Initiated Changes:
-
We will make reasonable efforts to notify you if we need to reschedule
-
We will work with you to find an alternative time that suits your schedule
2.4 Access to Property
You are responsible for ensuring our team has access to your property at the scheduled time. This includes providing keys, access codes, or lockbox information, ensuring gates, doors, and necessary areas are accessible, and arranging for someone to be present if required. If our team cannot access your property, you may be charged a service call fee as outlined in Section 2.5.
2.5 Site Readiness & Inaccessible Property Fee
2.5.1 Client Responsibility for Site Readiness
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that the property is ready for cleaning at the time of the scheduled appointment. This includes, but is not limited to:
-
The property is vacant and free of active construction, renovation, or contractor activity
-
All construction materials, debris, drop cloths, tarps, tools, or equipment have been removed from areas to be cleaned
-
There are no third-party workers, contractors, or tradespeople present in areas being cleaned during the scheduled service window
-
The property is in a condition that permits safe and effective cleaning as described at the time of booking
2.5.2 Inaccessible or Unready Property Fee
If our team arrives and is unable to perform the cleaning due to any of the following, an Inaccessible Property Fee of 50% of the total service cost will be charged, and our team will wait up to 15 minutes before departing:
-
Active construction, renovation, or contractor activity in areas to be cleaned
-
Construction materials, debris, or equipment obstructing areas to be cleaned
-
Third-party workers present preventing safe or effective cleaning
-
Property condition differing materially and adversely from what was described at booking
-
Our team determining, in their reasonable judgment, that the site is unsafe or unsuitable
2.5.3 Post-Construction and Renovation Cleanings
For post-construction and renovation cleaning services, the client warrants that all contractor work has been fully completed and the property cleared of all materials, tools, and equipment prior to our team’s arrival. If these conditions are not met upon arrival, the Inaccessible Property Fee will apply and the appointment will be rescheduled at the client’s expense.
2.6 Closed Door & Off-Limits Areas Policy
Our cleaning professionals will not open closed doors in your home unless the room is specifically listed in the service order or you have provided explicit written or verbal instructions that it should be cleaned. You are responsible for clearly identifying any areas of your home that are off-limits. Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is not responsible for missed areas that were inaccessible due to locked or closed doors.
2.7 Key, Code & Access Credentials
If you provide Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC with keys, access codes, lockbox combinations, or any other access credentials:
-
All access credentials will be used solely for the purpose of providing agreed cleaning services
-
Access credentials will be stored securely and not shared with unauthorized individuals
-
Upon termination of services, all physical keys and access devices will be returned promptly
-
We recommend changing all codes and combinations at the end of your service agreement as a standard security practice
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is responsible for physical keys and access devices while in our possession. If a key or access device is lost or damaged by our team, we will promptly notify the client and reimburse the reasonable cost of replacement or rekeying. The client is responsible for changing access codes and locks at the conclusion of the service relationship.
2.8 Pre-Existing Condition Disclosure
The client is responsible for disclosing any pre-existing damage, fragile items, surfaces requiring special care, or conditions that may affect cleaning prior to service commencement. Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is not liable for damage to items or surfaces whose pre-existing condition was not disclosed prior to service, including but not limited to scratches, stains, wear, or structural weakness that pre-dates our visit.
2.9 Communication Channel Policy
Clients agree to conduct all dispute-related communications via text or email to ensure accurate record-keeping. Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to request that all further communication be conducted in writing at any time during a dispute. Repeated unsolicited phone calls to our business number following a written communication boundary request may be considered harassment and reported to the appropriate authorities.
2.10 Recurring Service Cleaner Assignment
While we make every effort to assign the same cleaning professional for recurring services, we cannot guarantee the availability of a specific cleaner for every appointment. In cases of illness, emergency, or scheduling conflicts, Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to assign an equally qualified substitute. Client preference for a specific cleaner will be accommodated whenever possible but does not constitute a guaranteed service condition. Refusal of service solely on the basis of cleaner substitution will be treated as a same-day cancellation subject to the applicable cancellation fee.
2.11 Abandoned Property
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is not responsible for any items left on the property during or after a cleaning service. We will not remove, store, or dispose of any personal property unless explicitly instructed in writing by the client. Any items left on the property following a move-out clean are the sole responsibility of the client.
SECTION 3 — PRICING & PAYMENT
3.1 Pricing
Service pricing is based on the size of the property (bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage), type of service requested, frequency of service, condition of the property, and special requests or add-on services.
3.1.1 Booking Accuracy & Repricing
Pricing is based on the property information provided by the client at the time of booking. If our team arrives and determines that the actual property size or condition differs materially from what was reported, we reserve the right to adjust the service price before beginning or continuing the service. The client will be notified of any adjustment and given the option to proceed at the revised rate or cancel. Cancellation under these circumstances is subject to our standard cancellation fee as outlined in Section 4.1.
3.2 Payment Methods
We accept the following electronic payment methods:
-
Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)
-
Debit cards
-
Bank transfers (for commercial accounts)
Cash and check payments are not accepted. All transactions must be completed electronically through our approved payment processors. A card on file is required to confirm all bookings.
3.3 Payment Terms
One-Time Services: Payment is due upon completion of service unless otherwise arranged. Recurring Services: Payment is due on the day of service or according to the agreed billing schedule. Commercial Accounts: Payment terms may vary and will be specified in separate commercial agreements.
3.4 Late Payments
Late payments may result in late fees of $50 or 1.5% per day (whichever is greater), suspension of services until the account is current, and collection actions for severely delinquent accounts.
3.5 Price Changes
We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. For recurring services, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice of any price increases.
SECTION 4 — CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
4.1 Client Cancellations

-
Full refund or rescheduling available
-

Recurring Service Discount Policy:
Recurring discounts (Weekly 20%, Bi-weekly 15%, Monthly 10%) require a minimum of 4 completed cleanings to be fully earned. If recurring service is canceled before completing 4 cleanings, the discount differential will be charged retroactively.
4.3 Company Cancellations
If we need to cancel your appointment, we will provide as much advance notice as possible. You will not be charged. We will work to reschedule at your convenience, and you may cancel without penalty if rescheduling is not possible.
4.4 Refund Policy
Full Refunds Available:
-
Service not performed as scheduled (our fault)
-
Significant quality issues reported within 24 hours and confirmed by management
No Refunds:
-

-
Pre-existing conditions or damage
-
Normal wear and tear
4.5 Satisfaction Guarantee
If you are not satisfied with our service, contact us within 24 hours of service completion and we will return to re-clean the areas of concern at no additional charge. This guarantee is void if concerns are reported after the 24-hour window or if a walkthrough was completed and the service was approved at the time of completion.
SECTION 5 — CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
5.1 Property Preparation
You agree to remove clutter and personal items from surfaces to be cleaned, secure valuables, jewelry, cash, and important documents, remove fragile or irreplaceable items from cleaning areas, inform us of any delicate or special-care items, and provide appropriate cleaning supplies if you have specific product preferences.
5.2 Pet Safety
If you have pets, inform us during booking, secure aggressive or anxious pets in a separate area, provide instructions for pet interactions, and note that we reserve the right to refuse service or leave if we feel unsafe due to pet behavior.
5.2.1 Pet Mess Surcharge
If a pet causes a mess, accident, or creates additional work during an active cleaning — including requiring our team to reclean any area — a Pet Mess Surcharge of $50.00 per occurrence will be added to the final invoice. This surcharge is separate from any pre-booked pet-related add-on services. By booking our services in a home with pets, you acknowledge and agree to this policy.
5.3 Safe Working Environment
You must provide adequate lighting in all areas to be cleaned, working utilities (water and electricity), safe access to all areas, and full disclosure of any hazardous conditions.
5.4 Prohibited Areas
You must inform us of any areas that are off-limits or contain hazardous materials before service commencement.
5.5 Weight & Movement Limitations
For the safety of our cleaning professionals and the protection of your property, our team is not authorized to move, lift, or reposition any single item weighing more than 35 pounds. This includes furniture, appliances, storage boxes, exercise equipment, and large decorative items. Cleaning will be performed around items that exceed this weight limit.
Our team is also not authorized to climb higher than a standard two-step step stool for any cleaning task. Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is not liable for any damage caused by moving items at the client’s explicit request that exceed this weight limitation.
5.6 Biohazard & Hazardous Material Exclusions
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC does not provide biohazard cleaning services. Our cleaning professionals will not clean or come into contact with:
-
Human or animal feces, urine, vomit, or blood
-
Bodily fluids or biohazardous waste of any kind
-
Mold, mildew, or fungal growth beyond surface-level cleaning
-
Asbestos, lead paint, or other hazardous building materials
-
Sharps, needles, or medical waste
-
Chemical spills, toxic substances, or unidentified materials
-
Pest infestations or pest-related debris (droppings, nesting materials, carcasses)
If our team encounters any of the above conditions, they reserve the right to decline service and leave the premises. In such cases, the standard cancellation fee in Section 4.1 will apply.
5.7 Specialty Surface Exclusions
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is not liable for damage to surfaces that are unusually sensitive to standard cleaning products, including but not limited to unsealed stone, faux cement, concrete, specialty coated fixtures, antique finishes, or surfaces whose manufacturer recommends specialized cleaning products not included in our standard inventory. Clients with such surfaces must notify us at the time of booking so we can make appropriate accommodations.
5.8 Abandoned Property
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is not responsible for any items left on the property during or after a cleaning service. Items left on the property following a move-out clean are the sole responsibility of the client. We will not remove, store, or dispose of any personal property unless explicitly instructed in writing.
SECTION 6 — OUR RESPONSIBILITIES & SERVICE STANDARDS
6.1 Professional Service
We will arrive within the scheduled time window (or notify you of delays), use professional-grade cleaning products and equipment, employ trained and background-checked staff, treat your property with respect and care, and follow your specific instructions and preferences.
6.2 Cleaning Products
We use our own professional cleaning supplies. If you prefer specific products due to allergies or preferences, please inform us in advance so we can discuss options using products from our approved inventory.
6.3 Quality Assurance
We maintain quality standards through staff training and supervision, quality control checks, customer feedback review, and continuous improvement processes.
6.4 Cleaning Professional Conduct Standards
All cleaning professionals assigned to your property are required to adhere to the following professional conduct standards while on client premises:
-
Cleaning professionals are not permitted to smoke in, on, or near client properties at any time
-
Cleaning professionals are not permitted to eat or drink in a client’s home unless explicitly invited to do so
-
Cleaning professionals will not open closed doors, drawers, cabinets, or containers unless specifically instructed in the service order
-
Cleaning professionals will not use client-owned electronics, appliances (other than those required for cleaning), or personal items
-
Cleaning professionals will not bring guests, family members, or unauthorized individuals onto client premises
-
Cleaning professionals will treat all areas, personal belongings, and information with the utmost respect and discretion
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC takes these standards seriously. Any reported violations will be investigated promptly. Clients should report any conduct concerns to management within 24 hours of service.
6.5 Photographs & Privacy During Service
Cleaning professionals are not permitted to photograph, film, or record any area of a client’s property, personal belongings, or household members during service, except for the purpose of documenting pre-existing damage or service completion as directed by Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC management. Any such documentation photos are taken solely for internal quality assurance and damage claim purposes and are not shared publicly.
SECTION 7 — LIABILITY & LIMITATIONS
7.1 Property Damage — General
We carry general liability insurance and are responsible for damage caused by our negligence or improper cleaning methods. All damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion, accompanied by photographic evidence. We will repair or reimburse for verified damages up to our policy limits. We are not liable for pre-existing damage, damage to items not properly secured by the client, normal wear and tear, or damage caused by defective property conditions.
7.2 Lost or Stolen Items
We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Secure all valuables, jewelry, cash, documents, and personal items before our arrival. Our staff is background-checked, but we strongly recommend securing all valuables. Report any missing items within 24 hours. We will cooperate fully with any reasonable investigation into missing items reported within this window.
7.3 Independent Contractor Model
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC operates using independent contractors. Our cleaning professionals are not employees of the Company. We ensure all contractors are background-checked, trained, and insured. The Company maintains general liability insurance covering work performed by our contractors at client properties.
7.4 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the specific service in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
7.5 Force Majeure
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, wildfires, air quality emergencies, public health emergencies, government restrictions, severe weather, civil unrest, or utility failures. In such cases we will notify you as soon as practicable and work to reschedule at the earliest opportunity.
7.6 Separation of Payment Obligations and Damage Disputes
7.6.1 Payment is Independent of Damage Claims
Payment for cleaning services rendered is a separate and independent obligation from any claim, dispute, or disagreement regarding property damage. The existence of a damage claim — whether disputed or acknowledged — does not relieve the client of the obligation to pay for cleaning services that were performed. Clients may not withhold, reduce, offset, or delay payment for cleaning services on the basis of a damage dispute.
7.6.2 Damage Disputes Handled Separately
Any claim related to property damage — including but not limited to scratches, breakage, staining, or any other physical damage allegedly caused by our team — will be handled separately through our damage claims process as outlined in Section 7.1. Damage claims and cleaning service payment are distinct matters addressed through separate processes. Initiating a damage claim does not constitute grounds for non-payment of services rendered.
7.6.3 Client Obligation to Allow Remedy
Where damage is reported, the client agrees to allow Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC a reasonable opportunity to assess and remedy the damage before demanding replacement or reimbursement. This includes allowing Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC to send a qualified professional to evaluate and attempt repair of the damaged item.
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is not required to guarantee restoration of any item to its original factory condition as a prerequisite for fulfilling a damage claim. Reasonable repair attempts that restore an item to functional and cosmetically acceptable condition constitute a good faith remedy.
If the client refuses to allow an assessment or remedy attempt, imposes unreasonable conditions on the remedy process, or demands restoration to factory-original condition as a prerequisite for accepting repair, their right to claim reimbursement will be limited to the actual verified cost of professional repair by a licensed third-party contractor. Refusal to allow a reasonable remedy attempt forfeits the client’s right to demand full replacement cost.
7.6.4 Damage Reimbursement Limits
In the event of verified property damage caused by our team, reimbursement or repair will be limited to:
-
The actual and reasonable cost of professional repair by a licensed contractor, supported by a written estimate; OR
-
The depreciated replacement value of the damaged item — not the full retail replacement cost of a new item — if repair is determined impossible by a licensed contractor; AND
-
In all cases, not to exceed the limits of our general liability insurance policy
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is not liable for the full retail replacement cost of any item where professional repair is available and has been offered in good faith.
7.6.5 Reporting Requirements
All damage claims must be reported within 24 hours of service completion. Claims submitted after this period may not be eligible for reimbursement. Photographic evidence must be submitted at the time of first reporting. Photographs submitted more than 24 hours after the initial claim was raised may not be accepted as evidence of damage attributable to our service.
7.7 Client-Supplied Cleaning Products & Equipment
Our cleaning professionals are trained to use Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC’s approved professional-grade cleaning products and equipment. If a client requests or insists that our team use client-supplied cleaning products, vacuum cleaners, or other equipment:
-
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is not liable for any damage to surfaces, materials, or property resulting from the use of client-supplied products or equipment
-
Our team is not trained to assess the safety or compatibility of client-supplied products with specific surfaces
-
The client assumes full responsibility for any adverse outcomes resulting from the use of their own products or equipment
7.8 Third-Party Damage Assessment Requirement
For any damage claim exceeding $200, both parties agree to obtain an assessment from a mutually agreed upon licensed contractor prior to determining the appropriate remedy or reimbursement amount. The cost of assessment will be split equally between both parties if damage is verified, or borne entirely by the client if no damage attributable to Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is found.
7.9 Limitation of Liability Cap
In no event shall Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC’s total liability for any single damage claim exceed the total amount paid by the client for the specific service during which the damage allegedly occurred.
7.10 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against any claims, damages, losses, costs, and expenses — including reasonable attorney’s fees — arising out of or related to your breach of these Terms, your misrepresentation of property conditions, or your negligent or wrongful acts in connection with our services.
7.11 Good Faith Dispute Resolution
Both parties agree to engage in good faith communication to resolve any dispute before pursuing legal action or filing public complaints. Clients agree to allow Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC a minimum of 5 business days to respond to and attempt resolution of any dispute before escalating through legal channels or public review platforms.
SECTION 8 — NON-SOLICITATION
8.1 Non-Solicitation of Cleaning Professionals
You agree that during the term of your engagement with Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC and for a period of twelve (12) months following the completion of the last service provided, you will not directly or indirectly solicit, hire, engage, or attempt to engage any cleaning professional who has provided services at your property through Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC, whether as an independent contractor or otherwise.
Any breach of this clause will result in a referral fee of $2,500.00 per individual hired, payable to Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC. This fee reflects the cost of recruitment, vetting, onboarding, and training of cleaning professionals. Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to enforce this clause through all available legal remedies.
SECTION 9 — PRIVACY & CONFIDENTIALITY
9.1 Privacy Policy
We collect and use your personal information only as necessary to provide our services and communicate with you. We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We implement reasonable security measures to protect your information.
9.2 Confidentiality of Client Information
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC and all cleaning professionals assigned to client properties acknowledge that they may be exposed to confidential or private information in the course of providing services. All cleaning professionals are required to:
-
Keep all information observed or obtained during service strictly confidential
-
Not photograph, copy, share, or disclose any personal information observed during service
-
Not discuss details of client properties, routines, or personal information with third parties
-
Report any inadvertent exposure to sensitive information to management immediately
This confidentiality obligation continues after the termination of services. Violation of this policy by any cleaning professional will result in immediate termination of their engagement with Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC and may result in legal action.
9.3 Electronic Communications Consent
By booking our services, you consent to receive electronic communications from Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC including booking confirmations, appointment reminders, service updates, and satisfaction follow-ups via email and SMS text message. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by replying STOP to any text message or clicking unsubscribe in any email.
9.4 Review Integrity & Retaliatory Review Prohibition
Clients agree that any public statements made about Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC on review platforms, social media, or any other public forum will be truthful, accurate, and based solely on their direct personal experience. Clients further agree that public statements will not be used as leverage to obtain financial concessions outside of our published policies.
Clients agree not to post false, misleading, or retaliatory reviews on any public platform as a means of obtaining financial concessions, refunds, or remedies that fall outside the scope of our published policies. Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to pursue all available legal remedies, including claims for defamation and trade libel under California Civil Code Sections 45 and 46, for any knowingly false public statements that cause measurable harm to our business reputation.
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to respond publicly to any review with factual information relevant to the service in question.
SECTION 10 — MINIMUM SERVICE FEE
10.1 Minimum Service Fee
A minimum service fee of $100.00 applies to all bookings. This ensures we can send a dedicated cleaning professional to every home we serve and that every visit receives our full attention. Bookings that fall below this threshold will be adjusted to meet the minimum.
SECTION 11 — COMMERCIAL ACCOUNTS
11.1 Commercial Service Terms
Commercial cleaning accounts are subject to separate service agreements in addition to these Terms. Payment terms, scheduling, and service specifications for commercial accounts will be outlined in individual commercial contracts.
SECTION 12 — TERMINATION OF SERVICES
12.1 Termination by Client
You may terminate recurring services at any time with 48 hours written notice prior to the next scheduled appointment, subject to the recurring service cancellation policy in Section 4.2.
12.2 Termination by Company
We reserve the right to terminate services at any time for reasons including, but not limited to, non-payment, abusive or threatening behavior toward our team, unsafe working conditions, violation of these Terms, or any conduct we deem inappropriate or harmful to our staff.
12.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination, all outstanding balances are immediately due. We will return any keys or access credentials in our possession within a reasonable timeframe. All confidentiality obligations survive termination.
SECTION 13 — INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
13.1 Ownership
All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
SECTION 14 — MODIFICATIONS TO TERMS
14.1 Right to Modify
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website at cornerstonecleaningca.com/terms with a revised Effective Date. Continued use of our services after the updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. For recurring clients, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes via email or text.
SECTION 15 — DISPUTE RESOLUTION
15.1 Good Faith Negotiation
In the event of a dispute arising from or related to these Terms or our services, both parties agree to first attempt resolution through good faith negotiation. Either party may initiate this process by providing written notice of the dispute to the other party.
15.2 Mediation
If good faith negotiation fails within 10 business days of written notice, both parties agree to attempt mediation through a mutually agreed upon mediator before pursuing litigation or small claims court. The cost of mediation will be split equally between both parties.
15.3 Small Claims Court
Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from filing a claim in small claims court for disputes within the jurisdictional limits of Santa Clara County Small Claims Court, where Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC is based and operates.
SECTION 16 — GENERAL PROVISIONS
16.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC regarding our services and supersede all prior negotiations, representations, warranties, and understandings. No verbal agreements, promises, or representations made by any employee or contractor of Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC shall be binding unless confirmed in writing by company management.
16.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or if modification is not possible, it will be severed from these Terms. All remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
16.3 Waiver
Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be considered a waiver of those rights. Any waiver of these Terms must be in writing and signed by an authorized representative of Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC.
16.4 Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes not resolved through the processes outlined in Section 15 will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Santa Clara County, California.
16.5 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign our rights and obligations under these Terms without restriction.
16.6 Amendment Notice
Cornerstone Cleaning Services LLC reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website with a revised Effective Date. For recurring clients, we will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes via email or text at least 14 days before they take effect.
