How much does house cleaning cost in San Jose and the South Bay?
Price depends on your home's size and the type of clean. A Standard Clean starts at $165 for a studio and $175 for a 1-bedroom/1-bath, and a 3-bedroom/2-bath is about $315. Deep Cleans start at $310 for a studio and $325 for a 1-bedroom/1-bath. Move-In/Move-Out cleans start at $375 for a studio and $395 for a 1-bedroom/1-bath. What is the difference between a Standard Clean, a Deep Clean and a Move-In/Move-Out Clean?
A Standard Clean is regular upkeep for homes cleaned every one to four weeks: kitchen and bathrooms, dusting, vacuuming and mopping. A Deep Clean is a top-to-bottom reset every few months, adding inside the oven, fridge, microwave and dishwasher, baseboards, window tracks, blinds and more. A Move-In/Move-Out Clean is for empty homes and includes everything in a Deep Clean plus inside all cabinets, drawers and closets, with a final move-ready check. Do you bring your own cleaning supplies and equipment?
Yes. Our team arrives with all supplies and equipment, so there is nothing for you to provide. We use standard cleaning products by default, and natural products are available on request.
Are your cleaners background-checked and insured?
Yes. Cornerstone Cleaning is insured, and every member of our team is background-checked.

How do I get a quote and book a cleaning?
Use our Instant Quote page to pick your home size and service and see your price right away, then send us your request. We confirm every booking personally by text or phone. A card is required to secure your appointment and is charged automatically after your scheduled cleaning time, never upfront.
What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations are free with 24 hours or more notice. Cancellations under 24 hours are charged 50%, and same-day cancellations and no-shows are charged 100%.
What should I expect on the day of my cleaning?
We give you an arrival window of one to two hours. When our team finishes, they check their work against your service checklist. If you’re home, you’re welcome to take a quick look around with them and point out anything, but it’s never required.
What if I am not satisfied with my cleaning?
Every job is backed by our 24-hour satisfaction guarantee. If we missed anything, tell us within 24 hours and we will fix it free.
Do you clean offices and commercial spaces?
Yes. Commercial cleaning is quoted by square footage and scope of work, and one-time commercial jobs have a $200 minimum. Contact us for a free quote.
Do you offer post-construction cleaning?
Yes. Post-construction cleaning is custom quoted. Send us a few photos of the space and we will give you a price based on the amount of dust and debris.

Will I get the same cleaner every time?
For recurring service, we schedule the same team whenever possible so they get to know your home and your preferences. If your regular team isn't available, another background-checked team cleans from the same checklist for your home.
Do you offer carpet cleaning?
Yes. We offer professional carpet cleaning starting at $150 for one room, with pre-vacuuming and light furniture moving included. You can book it on its own or alongside a house cleaning.
Do you clean homes with pets?
Yes, pets are welcome. Standard Cleans in homes with pets have a $25 fee to cover the extra hair and paw-print cleanup, and it's included at no extra charge on Deep Cleans and Move-In/Move-Out Cleans.
